OEM Dodge Lighting

Your vehicle has OEM lighting for nearly every use you can think of. Headlights are perhaps the commonest example. You use their low-beam function for everyday driving. You use their high-beam function when it's very dark. Headlights also function as hazard lights, too. They're called "flashers," in this case. You know what they do: inform others that you need help or tell them there's danger nearby. You also know what taillights and daytime running lights (DRLs) do: they indicate your position. You've also got "blinkers," your signal lights. They indicate turns and lane changes. These aren't to mention brake lights, which show slows and stops. But did you know that, depending on whether you drive a Chrysler or a Dodge, a Jeep or a RAM, you may have some other types of lighting, too? Fog lights, for example. They shine low to light the way in bad weather, and better yet, they minimize glare. Puddle lights are another example. They help riders avoid rainwater when getting into and out of a vehicle by illuminating the area below its doors. You may even have specialty lighting. It showcases a license plate frame or other exterior accessories. Most lights are one of three types: halogen, Xenon (also called high-intensity discharge or HID), or LED.

What Lighting Does My Car Need?

That's dependent on its make, model, and body style. When to change a car light bulb doesn't, though. You should change Xenon bulbs every few years as they dim. You should change LED bulbs if their electronics fail or the lights themselves burn out. You should change halogen bulbs about every two years. Our auto parts store stocks only genuine Mopar, so it'll fit what you drive. Plus, you can order what you need online. Buy now and save. And don't forget the light assembly kit you need to install!
