OEM Dodge Oil Filters

Whatever you drive -- whether it's a Dodge, Chrysler, Jeep, or RAM -- your engine has many parts. Motor oil lubricates them. Now, oil has some impurities to begin with, and it also collects them as it greases. Engines also produce heat as they run, and a lot of it; if your radiator can't get rid of it properly, it can turn oil into gooey muck. What happens when either builds up? Your oil pump and its bearings begin to wear out fast. They aren't the only engine parts that do, either. Luckily, your vehicle has an original oil filter to help prevent that.

What Do Oil Filters Do?

Put simply, they capture most pollutants before they can accumulate in your engine and cause problems. The best way to make sure that motor continues to work as best it can, then, is to replace its oil filter as regularly as you can. Telling when to do so is easy. Do it during every oil change or every other one. Either way, you should do it every 3 months or 3,000 miles. However, avoid aftermarket oil filters. Those not made by Mopar for your vehicle specifically may not get the gasket and thread sizes right. Use the wrong size, and it'll have two dire consequences: either the filter will start leaking oil or it'll detach from your oil pump completely. The first is bad enough for an engine, but the second usually results in severe damage to one. The best replacement for your vehicle, then, is a genuine OEM oil filter. It'll fit the make and model you drive most reliably. You can buy one online from our auto parts counter. So, enjoy the peace of mind of getting the real thing -- order now. We ship immediately, right to your door, so you'll be taking care of business in no time.
